The PSU Queer Resource Center
The Queer Resource Center promotes an inclusive safe space at Portland State University and advocates for underrepresented sexual and gender communities. Their mission is to serve the PSU and surrounding communities through outreach, education, and awareness.

The Women's Resource Center seeks to empower women and to encourage their active and equal participation in all levels of the university community and the larger society. We encourage the participation of ALL people in the community as we strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for self-identified women.

The Center for Student Health and Counseling
SHAC is a primary health care clinic serving PSU students. They offer medical treatment, women's health care, lab and x-ray facilities, immunizations, dispensary services, a wellness resource center, and health education. Their staff consists of 12 full time registered nurses and 6 staff physicians, and medical residents from OHSU also provide services in the clinic.

Counseling and Psychological Services
The purpose of Counseling and Psychological Services is to apply clinical expertise in human behavior to mitigate emotional problems as well as assist students in developing and recognizing their strengths. The application of this expertise may involve prevention, intervention, outreach consultations, skill development training, and applied research all encompass our view of enhancing the student’s ability to engage in a successful university experience. All services are confidential.
